NEW PROPA BLEND VIDEO + SINGLE

HEMP HIGHER PRODUCTIONS prides itself in discovering and developing new reggae & Dancehall talent. Not only are they the label responsable for the success of talented european artists such as CALI P & RANDY VALENTINE, (with six No1 ITUNES REGGAE ALBUMS since 2010) the label also played a major role in the early stages of rising dancehall icons JAHMIEL and MASICKA, as they were the first foreign label (non-Jamaican) to invest in to their careers, and push their music on an international level.

For 2017, the label is introducing a new artist to the scene: PROPA BLEND. Born to a Senegaleese father and german mother (a mix of african and european cultures), PROPA BLEND grew up within a carribean community in South London before moving to Switzerland where he is currently based.

His music is heavily inspired by Jamaican Culture, but one can easily hear the blend of other influences as the instrumentals he chooses range from reggae to modern rap and electronic music – therefore his sound can easily be described as a mix of all these influences: a PROPA BLEND.

His first single dropped online on Jan 13th – High Like Cloud – produced by one of HEMP HIGHER’s in-house producer’s: JAHNATON – and the video is premiering today!
