9 October 2012On October 8th, Triba presented his first album to the world. After more than 2 years of work, collaborations and and patience, the modern Reggae/ Dancehall/ Hip Hop-ish flavour of this young artist will be well exposed in this first collection of tracks named “Try” (RAS GANJAH RECORDS).
In this first album, Triba worked with several riddim makers and artists from around all of Europe.
Producetions include riddimz by Ras Ganjah (‘Fame’ & ‘Nation to Nation’), Weedy G (‘Inna di Dance’), Tiny Dawson (Try’, ‘Higha we Reaching’, ‘Sick a dem Balling’ & ‘Party Nice’) , Handcart Market (‘U a Nuh Gangsta’), Doze (‘Well Enough’) , Addis (‘Broken Hearted’) & Hemp Higher Prod (‘Come Ova’ & ‘Who Cares’) !
Several artists were invited on the project , amongst them Doze (‘Well Enough’), the Ras Ganjah artist, Branko (‘Nation to Nation’) and the UK dancehall sensation Gappy Ranks (‘Party Nice’) ! This creates a varied and interesting vibe throughout the CD, showing the versatility of the “Lyrical Youth” crossing a wide range of styles/genres for the pleasure of different musically oriented listeners!
The album is available on all legal online music stores (Itunes, Amazon etc….) and physical copies will also follow Triba throughout the shows, and for all other promotion purposes so that the interested people can have the genuine project in their hands!
Enough said! The bomb has been dropped the 08 !
